Our South West Sydney office is currently looking for an SMSF Audit Manager to join the team.

 

 

This position will have responsibility for the following:

 

  • Completing and reviewing SMSF audits accurately and to the highest quality
  • Managing the SMSF Audit Division and reporting to the Client Director
  • Assisting with leading and driving the growth of the SMSF Audit Division
  • Assisting with developing new and maintaining existing SMSF audit policies, processes and procedures
  • Resolving SMSF technical issues and answering SMSF technical questions from clients

 

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and attributes:

 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Be able to schedule, plan, execute, supervise, report and follow up SMSF audits
  • Able to manage SMSF audit engagements autonomously and think innovatively on delivering the best outcomes for our clients
  • Commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients
  • At least 4 years experience in a Chartered Accounting practice
  • Degree qualified
  • CA/CPA completed or near completion
  • Passion / desire to work exclusively within the SMSF environment
  • Proven supervisory or management experience
  • Experience with BGL Simplefund, MYOB, HowNow, MS Excel and Word
  • Proactive attitude, self-motivated and enthusiastic

 

To successfully secure this role, you will have previous experience as an SMSF Auditor within a chartered or practice environment with an understanding of the relevant SMSF legislation and the ability to apply that knowledge.
