Kelly+Partners are looking for a Financial Controller to join our head office team.

 

This position will have responsibility for the following:

  • Run the day the day financial function of the organisation including daily, weekly and monthly reporting. Preparation of management reports, financial statements, tax returns and BAS for partnerships, companies and trusts.
  • Work with the CFO and CEO to draft annual budgets, and manage the P & L to achieve business targets as agreed in business plans.
  • Monitor debtors and creditors and develop cash flow management practices.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor to the CFO and CEO to create economic value through continual improvement of financial practices, systems and processes.
  • Liaise with various statutory authorities including the ATO and ASIC as required
  • Work with the Finance Team to ensure assigned work is completed within the timeframe allocated.
  • Supervision of more junior staff.

To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Degree qualified
  • CA qualified
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Commitment to providing exceptional service to our internal clients
  • Proactive attitude, self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • Minimum of 4+ years experience in a similar role
  • Experience with MYOB EXO, MYOB AE, Xero, HowNow, Advanced MS Excel and MS Word software Word
